first_imgRBC Race for the Kids in support of Great Ormond Street HospitalLondon, 6 June 2010 – RBC (Royal Bank of Canada), the 11th largest bank in the world, today gathered together over 350 of its employees, friends and family in Battersea Park, London, to take part in RBC Race for the Kids – the bank’s sponsored 5km fun run in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital, the world renowned hospital for sick children. RBC employees raised just under £83,000 for the charity in today’s event.In total, over 1,500 runners took part in today’s race, raising more than £175,000 (as at Friday 4 June) far surpassing all expectations.
