Simon Open Door was organised with the support of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland.The money was raised by people booking a free consultancy with an architect and making a ‚€50 donation to the Simon Communities of Ireland. Participants booked and paid online while the architects throughout Ireland also registered their involvement.Last year the event raised ‚€25,000 and the architects and Simon have confirmed that the event will be run again next year.
