LOUIS, Mo. – Drake University senior Reed Fischer (Minnetonka, Minn.) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Week presented by Eagle Bank and Trust Company, the conference announced Tuesday, Feb. 7. Academically, Fischer holds a 3.81 grade point average and is a double major in English and public relations. The Scholar-Athlete of the Week honor is the fifth of the year for Fischer and marks the 13th of the year for a Drake student-athlete.
