For the HNC/HND/degree, applicants must satisfy the minimumuniversity entry requirements. Star academics: Adrian Thornhill, head of HRM, who has co-authoredthree books on downsizing and redundancy and managing change. Mike Milmore,whose main areas of interest are recruitment and selection, HR planning,performance appraisal and strategic HRM. He has conducted research andconsultancy in these areas. Barry Baker, whose maininterests are ethicalHRM,occupational psychology including psychometric testing, stressandperformance.
