Kylian Mbappe (Monaco) – Everyone knows who Mbappe is after his star performances up front as Monaco clinched the Ligue 1 title last season. He scored 26 goals in all competitions, with the 18-year-old winning the Young Player of the Year award and is being talked about as a £100m footballer. 6. Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) – After bursting onto the scene under Louis van Gaal, Rashford has continued to show moments of class for the Red Devils when he has played. The 19-year-old needs to find consistency and score on a more regular basis but there is no doubting the potential the United front man possesses. 10 5. Alban Lafont (Toulouse) – At just 18 years of age the Frenchman has been the number one goalkeeper at Toulouse for the last season and a half – helping the side escape relegation in 2015/16 before starring in their 13th place finish in the last campaign. In February Lafont became the youngest goalkeeper to reach 50 Ligue 1 appearances in 30 years underlying his star potential. 10. Tom Davies (Everton) – Everton’s teenage midfielder certainly caught the eye as he broke into the Toffees first team last season. Now 19 years of age the throwback midfielder displayed an air of confidence that defied his tender years and he finished the campaign by winning the club’s Young Player of the Year, Goal of the Season and Performance of the Season awards. 9. Malang Sarr (Nice) – At just 18 years of age the central defender broke through from the academy to make 32 first team appearances last season. Nice finished their Ligue 1 campaign in an impressive third place and big things could be on the horizon for the talented teenage centre-half. 10 10 10 10 3. Christian Pulisic (Borussia Dortmund) – The German side have a host of young talent but there are few more exciting prospects than American Pulisic. The attacking midfielder already has 16 senior caps for his country, made 29 league appearances last season and is still just 18. 10 8. Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham) – The young Englishman made a huge impression at Fulham and the left-back looks destined for the top. The 17-year-old shunned interest from Premier League teams this summer to sign a new contract at Craven Cottage and continue to develop in an exciting Championship side. 4. Manuel Locatelli (AC Milan) – As AC Milan look to return to the pinnacle of Italian football they will do so with an excellent teenage midfield talent in the form of 19-year-old Locatelli. The young midfielder has seized his chance in the first team following injury to idol Riccardo Montolivo and looks set to be a mainstay for plenty of time to come. 1. Gianluigi Donnarumma (AC Milan) – Pride of place at the top of the rankings is 18-year-old Milan keeper Donnarumma who has just recently signed a new contract at the Italian club. Seen as the heir to Italy great Gianluigi Buffon, the teenage goalkeeper overtook former Real Madrid number one Diego Lopez to become first choice at Milan, at the start of 2016, and continued his stunning form last season.
