Samsung Galaxy M10 may come with 6.2-inch Infinity-V display, Exynos chip

first_imgSamsung is just a few days away from announcing the Galaxy M series for the first time ever in India. Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy M10 and M20 are most certainly expected to go official first while the Galaxy M30 may launch at a later date. The Galaxy M10 and M20 are both expected to offer similar designs, but the hardware will be a little different. We know quite a lot about the M20 and now some new information has cropped up about the Galaxy M10.The Galaxy M10 will be the cheapest among the two phones and is rumoured to fall under Rs 10,000 in India. A leaked manual spotted on the internet suggests the Galaxy M10 will offer a 6.2-inch screen with a 720p resolution, which is understandable if it indeed falls below Rs 10,000. Samsung has already confirmed that the new Galaxy M devices will be the first Samsung phones to sport Infinity-V displays with a V-shaped notch. The Galaxy M10 is said to get an Exynos 7872 chipset and not an Exynos 7870 chip as was previously reported based on a Geekbench listing back in November. The budget Galaxy M phone will also come with 2GB and 3GB of RAM and will support dual SIM cards with a dedicated slot for a microSD card.Samsung is also teasing big batteries with the new Galaxy M phones. While the Galaxy M20 is rumoured to come with a massive 5,000mAh battery, the Galaxy M10 is said to house a 3,400mAh battery which is pretty big as well in the scheme of things. Unlike the Galaxy M20 which will most definitely come with a Type-C port, the Galaxy M10 will get a microUSB port and will most likely lack fast charging support. The good news is that there will be a 3.5mm headphone jack for audiophiles.advertisementThe Galaxy M10 will also come with dual rear cameras with a 13MP main sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor. The render of the Galaxy M10 seems to suggest no fingerprint sensor on board, so facial recognition will probably be the only biometric option on offer. The Galaxy M phones are also expected to ship with Android 8.1 Oreo instead of Android Pie. The Galaxy M10 and M20 will go official on January 28 and both the phones will be exclusive to Amazon India.ALSO READ | Samsung confirms Galaxy M series India launch on January 28, Galaxy M10, M20 expected firstALSO READ | Samsung Galaxy M10, M20 key design details revealed: Here’s what you need to knowALSO READ | Samsung Galaxy A50 with 6GB RAM and Android Pie spotted, may launch soonlast_img read more
